MTM Audi RS5 2011

(from MTM Press Release) MTM recommends RS5 owners one hour of abstinence

· -Top speed of 303 km/h, thanks to MTM V-Cantronic
· -MTM exhaust system and MTM rims in the Bimoto Design are available

No doubt that there will be RS5 drivers who are willing to give their new toy away for an hour. The reward for this short abstinence: a top speed of 303 km/h. This is available with help of the MTM V-Cantronic: a small additional control device, which can be built in by MTM partners or directly at MTM in Wettstetten/Ingolstadt, without any complex reconstruction. The V-Cantronic removes the factory speed limiter of 250 or 280 km/h to 303 km/h. The owners who wait four more hours will be rewarded by a double flood stainless steel exhaust system and the most famous side will be designed definitely sportier and more individual: the rear of the 450 HP sportscar, that Audi started to deliver the last days.

HS Motorsport Audi A1 2011

(Press Release by HS Motorsport) Project A1

In cooperation with Autohaus Kempen (Meckenheim) and other partners, HS Motorsport has built a spectacular project car based on the highly popular Audi A1.

What attracts the eye, first and foremost, is the effect-rich silver finish of the classy small car. The masterfully executed work of the CFC Styling Station in Neuss has ensured an avant garde optical effect. HS Motorsport has given the rear of the vehicle a modified bumper, which appropriately houses the R32-look tailpipes developed and manufactured especially for this project by Fox Sport Exhaust Systems. The classy tailpipes are complemented by a full-throated sporty rumble - almost cocky for a vehicle of this class.

Audi A8 2011

(from Audi Press Release) The new Audi A8 – the sportiest sedan in the luxury class

Fascinating sportiness, innovative technology and superior comfort: Audi is bringing the next generation of the A8 to the starting line. The new flagship demonstrates the brand’s proverbial Vorsprung durch Technik with its light aluminum body, its powerful and highly efficient engines, the further improved MMI operating system, new driver assistance systems, the full LED headlights and an elegant interior with a craftsman’s level of workmanship.

With all this technology the new Audi A8 offers the perfect synthesis of dynamics, perfection in design, workmanship and pioneering efficiency. The A8 3.0 TDI with front-wheel drive, to follow at a later time, emits only 159 grams of CO2 per kilometer (255.89 g/mile) – and with 6.0 liters of fuel per 100 km (39.20 US mpg) it achieves the lowest consumption rate in the luxury segment.

Abt Audi R8 V10 2010

Ten cylinders. 600 HP. The ABT R8 5.2 FSI

These figures make the hearts of sports car drivers beat faster: 600 HP (441 kW), acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, top speed of 322 km/h. The car to which these impressive performance figures belong is the ABT R8 5.2 FSI. Its V10 engine draws plenty of power from its large 5,204 cubic centimetre capacity – all the more if ABT Chiptuning gives it an extra boost. 75 extra HP or 55 more kW provides a powerful trust at all speeds as well as increasing the torque.

Abt Sportsline Audi TT Roadster 2010

(from Abt Sportsline Press Release) An open roof sportscar in a tailor-made suit: The Abt TT Roadster

Before the first preliminary designs were published, it was clear that the leading Audi tuner Abt Sportsline planned to cause a sensation with the new Audi TT, as the first TT is one of the favourite cars of the Kempten-based company with a long tradition. And this is due to the fact that the race version of the Sports Coupe 2002 won a lot of DTM (German Touring Car Series) races.

Therefore it is only logical that, after the extravagant TT-Sport and TT-R, also the TT Roadster, which is already exquisitely beautiful as serial car, gets a special treatment in the Allgaeu: the designer from Abt Sportsline developed car body parts with which the open-roof TT becomes more danymical. Thus, the front skirt with its grid element emphasizes the area around the fog lights and the single-frame grill. The brawny laterally attached parts underline the design of the convertible and create a unit with the striking rear section of the car. There the rear skirt inset and the rear wing, providing additional down force, are the central elements. Also the 4-pipe rear muffler, which perfectly harmonizes with the rear skirt inset and its integrated rear diffuser, belongs to the distinctive rear view of the Abt TT Roadster.

Abt Sportsline Audi TT-R 2010

(from Abt Sportsline) With the Abt TT-R Abt Sportsline celebrated the most amazing motor sport victories in the season 2002. Hardly anyone was able to beat the Abt TT-R. In nine of the ten DTM races at least one of the Abt pilots clinched a podium position, and at the end Laurent Aiello won the DTM championship in the yellow Abt TT-R. Therefore it is no wonder that the Abt team from Kempten has a special relationship with “their” TT and it is a fortunate coincidence that the second version of this sporty Audi model just appears on the market when the family enterprise celebrates its 110th company anniversary. At the same time, this happenstance means a challenge for Abt Sportsline - a challenge the team from Kempten meets by enhancing this exceptional sports car.

Abt Audi A1 2010

(from Abt Press Release) Bold, fresh and agile the new cool ABT A1

It is the new big ABT. With the new A1, premium quality can now be experienced in all classes, says Hans-Jrgen Abt. The General Manager of the worldwide largest tuner of vehicles from the VW group stresses that driving enjoyment and agility are particularly important characteristics of the ABT A1. The latest ABT is also a real sports car. Thanks to ABT POWER the cool little car brings more performance to the road: with the 1.2 TFSI the standard 86 HP (63 kW) becomes a dynamic 115 HP (85 kW), while the larger 1.4 TFSI now offers 150 HP / 110 kW (compared to 122 HP/90 kW) after the rejuvenating therapy. The economic diesel engine with 1.6 litre cubic capacity is now even better nourished: depending on the basic performance, up to 125 HP (90 kW) is put to work. Thanks to the performance springs and the lower centre of gravity the A1 also lies full on the road and in particular ensures enjoyable car driving on winding country roads.
